Older picture, but one I only recently reassembled. Used on my last site layout. I don't know exactly what spawned the idea of wasaki almost in something that was almost a kimono, but it came out pretty good methinks. I know that the blossoms came from one of the wingding/webding fonts that came with my computer (ca'nt remember which one), but I don't remember where the grass and flower pattern at the edges of the outfit came from save that they were photoshop brushes. The floral lace pattern came from a free backgrounds site I can't remember the name of either (But they were in the nature section), and the bamboo in the back ground was sorced from every which where, although I believe the white one was from one of those 'free clip-art' sites.

Yay Wasaki!

Great work. This is better than many of the favorites on DA. I don't know why this has so few favorites. DA's a great place, but what annoys me about it (and all amateur art communities, so this cannot be helped) is that good artists are often short changed by a lack of relationships. Hence, this picture has been around since 2004 but has only received 1 favorite.

Anyway, I really like the designs on the outfit. Details on clothes are always cool. Her expression is also done well. The back's a little strange (I just noticed this) but this blemish does not detract that mcuh from the piece. Good choice of colors and great background.
You're too kind, especially given that this picture is almost 2 years old now. I get what you mean about the back - there are several problems that I didn't see then but which are glaringly obvious now.

Thankyou so much for the well thought out comment. It's nice to read comments that have some time put into them ^_^
Love the piercings. THe hair is ery pretty and so is the dress, and the eyes are very cool.
^_^ Thankyou very much

You did an absolutely swell job putting the patterns onto the dress--amazing! Usually when people use that technique it comes out flat, but you put in the effort and skill it needed. This is a really beautiful picture. I love the colors, and the background was a great choice. I also like how her tail flings out of the frame.
