It's about time I did something for one of my favorite characters. Haku on a rock in the water.

I liked the composition idea when I fisrt came up with it, but I think it would have worked better if I'd done it larger. Never the less, I'm still not displeased with the eventual outcome. Just Haku, allowing himself to be happy by the waters edge for a change. Even if he has nowhere to go back to, he is still a river - I imagine he feels most at home there.

Won best Anime Character art at this years AVCon. Go me ^_^ This will go on my new wall very shortly.

Oh man thats so pretty! I love Haku so much, definately one of my favorites.

I love the dragon border, it turned out really well too, wouldnt be the same without it. I like how the fur on his tail just kinda hangs down right above Haku's head >D I'm odd, it's the simplist things. ^^; Don't ask.

XD I LOVE IT! I :heart: Kohaku! Neat idea using his dragon form as a frame! The hands are PERFECT and the way you colored it is exquiset (sp?)!

:nod: I made sure of that - despite the fact that technically it wouldn't have to, since his fur drifts anyway. But I wanted it to have to comply to the laws of physics.

I made a lot of colouring errors around there O_O But I think I covered it up well ^^;

Yay! Thankyou so much! I was nervous about his hands (and his feet - I wanted him to be wrigling his toes for some reason O_o), so hearing that they're okay is a relief ^^;

Chinese and japanese style dragons are so long and beautiful - how could one NOT use one as the border? ^_^

You made coloring errors? You're right then, didn't notice em at all. I'll make a point not to go looking for them though ^^; Because I'm nice that way.

Glad you did make sure of that anyway, cuz it turned out great. Good to see anime that follows atleast some laws of psychics...it's more rare than you'd think.
