I tried to sell this not long ago, but I didn't get any takers.
This is something I did many years ago, back when I was studtying art and I was much better at were-form creatures. It's a 75 cm X 55 cm (30” X 22”) pencil piece on Canson paper ^_^ Of a cheetah. It was sort of inspired by the fact that Cheetah infants have a high rate of mortality because of genetic and contagious diseases as well as culling from farmlands and competition from larger predators. And also, obviously, by the tear-track markings that run down the side of their muzzle to their mouth. I read somewhere that the infant mortality rate for Cheetah's was estimated to be around 75%... Not sure how accurate that is. I worked really hard on it too - it's kind of the best thing I've ever done Wait, no... Seccond best. The best thing I've ever done was given as a gift to a friend. I should try working this big again sometime soon.
Yes, the seccond picture is me, the disgruntled artist, standing next to the picture. That's how big it is on the wall ^_^
I am still looking to sell this, so I'll make an effort to do so soon.
I'm especially in love with the chetah's face ^_^
Critique is discoraged because this piece is over two years old. I'm not interested anymore, basically.
aw don't look so disgruntled ;_; it's such a pretty cheetah, i've never been able to draw animals that well n this looks quite near perfect the expression on the crying cheetah is really well done and you coloured it beautifully, and also, it's huge! god i wouldn't have the patience

You don't do a good disgruntled artist, you're much better as smily, happy person.
But I love it. ^_^
