This is what's been messing with my brain for so long. Yes, it's bad. No, I don't particularly like it, nor do I have any idea why I didin't give up. Just stuborn I guess. The butterflies are a reference to Chaos THeory - also known as the Butterfly Effect. I was going to be unable to draw him any other way until I got that out of my system. Glad the nightmare is over.

Ever since ~lythias got the game while he was in japan, Chaos has been a minor obsession of mine. Part of it may be the hotshorts, although a larger part is that I'm just transfixed by his character. Anyone who explains away what he can do as 'Everyone's especially good at one thing' tends to gain my interest. That and his English voice actor was responsible for Ken (D02). I'm allowd to be a fangirl every once and a while. Him and Wilhelm ^_^!.

I've not actually played Xenogears. Actually, I technically don't play Zenosaga either - I don't play videogames at all. But I like watching them, and I'm interested in Xenosaga, but don't bother telling me how much better Xenogears is.

Chaos is © Monolith or whoever is doing Xenosaga - I can't remember.

Damn, this is REALLY good! I can tell you put a lot of time and effort into it. I dont really like Chaos, he was a little too flaming queer acting for me (XD ), but I loved the game and this drawing kicks ass. Bravo!

Xenosaga is a very great game. This picture is not bad, it's very good. I'm glad you didn't give up.

OKay, first off, his name is chaos, not Chaos. :) He's very adamant about that 'no capital letter' rule, ya know.

I'm a Xenosaga fan so I was actually pretty jazzed to see you had some form of interest in it :) chaos happens to be one of my favorites (the top of the list is KOS-MOS, and not because she's a female robot, surprisingly).

Anyway, glad you didn't give up on this picture :)

Whoops ^_^;; Sorry, I'm at the point where it feels wierd to cut out le capital letters. I'll correct that on the original (Provided I didn't do anything stupid to it in my sleep enduced haze - it was 3am after all)

KOS-MOS is very cool (And I don't need qualifyers, because I'm not a female robot sorta person :P) - although I'm not so sure about the revamp they gave her for 'Beyond Good and Evil' (I don't remembr the german ^^; ) Her original design is pretty awesome, and I do like the way she developes throughout the game.

What is it with robot females and garters?

I'm more impressed by the missile pods on her shoulders and the plasma cannon in her right arm :)

But the revamp is actually expected, since she was extensively damaged at the end of the first game. Her visor was torn off for one thing, and since it's crucial in generating a Hilbert Effect, you can imagine just how extensively damaged she was.

Anyway, I was surprised that they were aiming at a more "normal" type of character model, I rather liked the Anime-style ones. Aw well. It'll still rock :)

I'm too visually oriented - it's not the cannon in her arm that I think is cool, it's the ability for that arm to change into a variety of projectile AND melee weaponry that I think is cool - simple mind ^_^

The garter still wiggs me out though O_o

On a similar note, Expected though the revamp may have been, doesn't mean I have to aprove of all of it :P I understand the visor being missing, it's the trippy shiney blue... eh ^^; But she doesn't look too bad in her more realistic model - a little creepier if anything, because it emphisisies the wierd colour scheme. Some other characters didn't fare quite so well.

It better still rock - From what I've read, it's more focused on Jr. and his little crew/siblings/yadda, so that should be interesting. I'm looking forward to it.
